Aaron Jimenez

Aaron Jimenez Sr. was born in Portales, New Mexico on September 13, 1982. He passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on April 4, 2021.

Aaron was born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico but made a life in Grants, New Mexico. Aaron was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. Aaron had a heart of gold and was the most genuine and loyal person that one could know. He was a fierce protector of his children and family. Despite the trials and tribulations in his life, he made the best of every situation. Joking and laughing, Aaron’s personality was so strong it would fill up a room. Aaron loved with his whole heart and if he loved you, he made sure you knew it. Aaron will be greatly missed.

Aaron is survived by his children; Aaron Jimenez Jr., Daniel Jimenez and Amethyst Gallegos. His father Ray Flores and Nadine, his mother Monse Jimenez, His brothers Noel Gutierrez, Nick Gutierrez and Santana Montes, his sisters Adriana Flores and Anahie Jimenez, many nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his sister Santa Flores, grandfather Santana Jimenez and grandparents Manuel and Manuela Flores.

On Friday April 9, 2021 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church a Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM. Then at 10:00 AM a Mass will be celebrated by Father John Paul Sauter. Cremation will follow services.

Pallbearers will include Nick Gutierrez, Noel Gutierrez, Adam Flores, Juan Flores Jr., Robert Fernandez and Jose Cervantes. Honorary pall bearers are his nieces and nephew.

Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
