Alexander Natonabah Richards

Age 34 of Albuquerque, NM passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Alex was born on February 8, 1985 in Gallup, NM. He was a Kintichíí ’nii (Redhouse Clan) and born for Naakaii (Hispanic Native). He was predeceased in death by his biological father Victor Anderson and aunt Victoria Hartley. His great grandparents David and Emma W. Natonabah, uncle Oscar Corley, his cousins Andrew Torres and Renata Garcia.

Survivors include his mother Patricia Richards, brothers Erik Richards, Timothy Richards and sister Fiona Richards all of Farmington, NM, brother Lance Richards of Albuquerque, NM, Tim Richards(step-father who raised him since he was a baby) of Gallup, NM, grandmother Ella Mae Natonabah Corley of Farmington, NM, grandfather Paul Shorty of Cornfields, AZ and numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Richards, Erik Richards, Lance Richards and Timothy Richards.

Alex is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland, 458 CR 6100 Kirtland, NM 87417. Memorial Service is Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00PM at Cope Memorial Chapel in Kirtland. Burial will follow at Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery. Donations can still be made during the memorial service to Patricia Richards, mother of Alex Richards.
