Barbara T. Sisneros

It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Barbara t. Sisneros age 55, a resident of Grants and formerly of Taos, passed away on August 7th, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather George Anglada, grandparents, Joe and Maria Sisneros, uncles Tomas & Michael Anglada and Steve Sisneros and aunt Beatrice Rodriguez .

Barbara is survived by her spouse Paul Murrietta, Parents David and Maggie Sinseros children Ashlee Quintana, and Joey Sisneros, grandchildren Mateo Sandoval and Isaiah Sandoval, grandmother Celia Anglada, mother in law Cecilia Murrietta.

Barbara was known for her caring nature and worked as a caregiver before she got sick. Barbara would put others before herself. In her free time she would garden , collect rocks and spend time with her children and grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew her, she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by family and friends.

Services will be Tuesday August 27th , 2024 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. A rosary will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by mass at 11:30a.m. 

Pallbearers include Janet Murrietta, Paulette Murrietta, gale Murrietta, Kara Murrietta, Renika Molina, and Casandra Candelaria. Honary pallbearers include Ashlee Quintana, Joey Sisneros, David Sisneros, Mateo Sandoval , Isaiah Sandoval and James Lucero.
