Benjamin “Ben” F. Aragon passed away on January 27, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was 78 years of age. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Grants, New Mexico.
Ben was a lifelong resident of Grants, New Mexico. He was a former Uranium Miner, Real Estate Broker and retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife Eloisa Aragon. His children; Brian Aragon and Rosalind Aragon. Two grandchildren; Zakary Aragon, and Miranda Grace Gutierrez. His siblings; Pannie Blacksher, Arthur Aragon and his wife Priscilla, Fidel Aragon and his wife Pat. Along with numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Aragon. A son; Michael Aragon. His parents; Prospero Aragon and Candelaria “Candy” Montano Aragon. His brothers; Clifford Aragon, and Richard Aragon.
On Tuesday February 2, 2021 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church at 9:30 am a Rosary will be recited, then at 10:00 am a Mass will be celebrated by Father Alberto Avella. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park. Masks are required and all social distancing protocol will be followed.
Pallbearers include; Jacob Cruz, Steven Baca, Paul Aragon, John Blacksher, Johnny Baca, and Paul Castillo.
Honorary Pallbearers include; Claude Blacksher, Tom Aragon, Jabez Cruz, Miguel Galvez, Joe Murrietta, Wayne Sabro, and Clemente Sanchez.
Cope Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
