Betty Barton Watson

Betty Barton Watson, 94 of Farmington, NM passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024. She was born in Broad Top Township, Bedford, PA, to August Joseph Barton and Elsie Mae (Bollman) Barton on December 3.1929. Betty met the love of her life, Keith Watson, while working at the FBI in Washington, DC, where fate brought them together from the Mountains of Southern Pennsylvania and the Great Plains of Nebraska. They were married for 73 wonderful years. Betty worked for many years as a Travel Agent sharing her love of travel. In addition to traveling, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. 

Betty is survived by her sons and their wives, Rick and Tree Watson, Randy and Becky Watson, her daughter Linda and her husband Tim Curtis, her loving grandchildren Cody & Brittany Watson, Danielle (Watson) & Mario Orozco, Lindsay (Curtis) & Adam Hawes, and Derek & Natalie Curtis, and her six special great-grandchildren: Zoey and Kora Hawes, Emily and Adelynn Watson, Nadia Orozco, and Eva Curtis. Betty was preceded in death by her parents August and Elsie Barton, sister Sarah May Barton, and brothers Joseph, Claude, and Ray Barton. 

Betty was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend who will be deeply missed for her love, compassion, friendship, and support.
