Carlene "Polly" Ruth Mills

Carlene Polly Ruth Mills passed away on August 21, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico, she was 93. She was born on August 24, 1924 in Sinton, Texas to Carl Clifton Brundrett and Mary Curtis Brundrett.
She was a member of the Cibola Hospital Auxiliary, and helped run the thrift shop for over 40 years. She loved children and served as a girl scout troop leader and volunteered at Bluewater Elementary School Library. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children; Rex Roland Mills and his wife Karin, Roy Curtis Mills and his wife Judy, Ronald Charles Mills and his wife Pat, Bruce Rodney Mills and his wife Tammy, Rebecca Rose Poppell, and Roxy Flanders. 21 Grandchildren, and 33 Great-Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great-grandchildren. Her siblings; Henry Hawkins Brundrett, and Ray Bisbe Brundrett and his wife Janice. And her brother in law; Guy Hines Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband; D.S. Mills on May 31, 2003. Her Parents; Carl and Mary Brundrett. Her son; Robert Dale Mills. Her daughter; Nancy Redden. Son in laws; Randel Poppell, Elton Flanders, and Robert Redden. Her Siblings; Bernice French, William Brundrett, and Carl Brundrett.
On Saturday August 25, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Mt Taylor Ward a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, with a Funeral ceremony at 11:00 AM with Bishop Gordon Merayo officiating. Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include; Quintin Wengert, Richard Mills, Gary Mills, Mark Burrows, Johnny McNeil, and Braman Merayo.
Honorary pallbearer will be David Trujillo.
