David Brian Frank, age 65, a resident of Bloomfield, returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 17, 2018. Dave married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Hanchett on January 11, 1975 for time and all eternity in the Provo, Utah Temple. Dave and Debbie celebrated 43 years of marriage this year. Dave worked in the Cardio Pulmonary Department of San Juan Regional Medical Center for 36 years. Dave was a valiant member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a two year mission in Alaske/British Columbia when he was 19 years old and later served as Bishop of the Bloomfield Third Ward.
Dave and Debbie are proud parents of Brian Frank, Wayne Frank (Yenifer), Rachel Bartley (Anthony), Heather Peine (Kory), Daniel Frank (Ashli), and daughter in law Deborah Frank. They are proud grandparents of caleb, Claudia, Jacob, Dana, Brooklyn, Ashley, Mia, Katelyn, Penelope, Olivia, Delilah, Adeline, Ryland, Amelia, Jaxson, Thomas, and Neva (due in September 2018).
Funeral Services in celebration of his life will be held on May 28th at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Blanco Blvd. in Bloomfield. Dave was laid to rest at the Red Mesa Cemetery, CO.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or the LDS Humanitarian Aid Fund.
