Edna Kay Conrad, 61, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away November 21, 2021 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was born August 18, 1960 in Durango, Colorado to Lee and Mollie Flaherty.
Edna had a strong faith and a love for her family. Edna loved children, her own as well as her nieces, nephews and two little girls that stole her heart, Kaitlyn and Kayli Farmer. She loved crafting of all kinds- painting, sewing, crocheting, photography, cake decorating, and cooking. One of her greatest pleasures was traveling and enjoying the beautiful scenery. She also loved ghost hunting and had numerous adventures with her best friend and sister- in- law, Terri.
Edna married Scott Conrad on May 24, 1986 in Aztec, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her mother; Mollie, father-in-law; Les, and mother-in-law; Sharon. She is survived by her husband; Scott, sons; Michael (Jessica) Fauteaux and Jamie (Debbie) Fauteaux. Her father; Lee, brother; Randy (Brenda) Flaherty, sisters; Patty (Tony) Clements and Marcy (Tim) Montoya, sisters-in-law; Terri (Mike) Shannon and Lisa (Matt) Sisson, grandson; Michael James Fauteaux, and numerous nieces and nephews; Michael, Sarah, Crystal, Sarah, Katrina, Devin, Tylyn, Delanie, Dillon, Taed, Kaitlyn and Kayli. She is also survived by her beloved Corgi- Jack.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2-4 PM at Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec, 405 S. Main Ave, Aztec, NM. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 500 N. Mesa Verde Ave, Aztec, NM.
