Kaitlyn Ashley Dunlap (Diddy) was born May 2, 1995 in Farmington, NM. She passed from this life on April 7, 2019. Kaity attended school in Kirtland and Farmington, graduating from Farmington High School 2013. Kaity went on to attend college at UNM and San Juan College. At the time of her passing, Kaity was employed at a local law firm and Country Family Restaurant. She looked forward to furthering her education.
Kaity loved coaching volleyball at Hermosa Middle School. She especially loved her volleyball girls. In addition to this, she enjoyed substitute teaching in the Farmington School District.
Kaity grew up with many of her grandparents nearby and enjoyed being with and working together with them in their family businesses, Country Family Restaurant, The Farm Center and Dunlap Performance Motorsports. Her smile was contagious and she was a very loyal friend. She loved her car, fashion, and was a huge animal lover. In her spare time, Kaity loved the mountains and hiking and Off-Road Racing with her Dad and brother, Clancy. Kaity loved her animals Maverick and Bubbles and enjoyed being the boss while Brett and Steve worked on her car.
Kaity was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Anilee Dunlap, Great Grandparents, Mac & Betty McMullen.
Left to mourn her passing are her Mother and Stepfather, Suzanne & Steve Jackson, Father and Stepmother, Darryl & Julia Dunlap, Siblings Clancy Dunlap, Tim Dunlap, Garrett Jackson, Brittany Jackson, and Niece Bristol Jackson. Great Grandmother Wanda Jackson, Grandparents, George & Linda Ferguson, Jim & Christine Dunlap, Homer & Carolyn Jackson, Aunts Christine and Spouse Travis Uptain, Debbie Johnson, Cheryl Dunlap, Kelli Luidhardt. Uncles, Dan McMullen, Larry Dunlap & his wife Linda, as well as numerous family members and countless friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m on Saturday April 13,2019 at Aztec Church of the Nazarene
