Kayden Dean Velarde

Kayden Velarde, 23, of Farmington, NM lost his battle with addiction on April 22, 2021.

Kayden was born in Cortez, CO in July 1997. Those who knew him will remember his sense of adventure, humor, love of music and art. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Kayden is survived by his mother, Callie (Doug) Sprague; father, Miguel Roque (Katherine) Velarde; sisters, Ashlyn and Nadia Velarde; brothers, Chris Cortez and Alex Serrano; sons, Kyson and Maddox Velarde; his grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Thursday April 29, 2021 at Sagebrush Church at 2:00pm.
