Larry Wayne Reid

Larry Wayne Reid, age 45 of Bloomfield, NM and McComb Mississippi, passed away on Sunday August 11, 2019. He was born in McComb, Mississippi on November 6th, 1973 to Johnnie "Wayne" and Annie Fay "Ann" Reid.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 22 years, Shawnna, his Daughter Kimberly and son Bruce of the family home, older children, Alisha Hawkins, (Roland), Ryan Gatheright, and Miranda Gatheright. He also had two beautiful Granddaughters, Olivia, and Penelope. He is also survived by both of his parents, Wayne and Ann, and two brothers, Patrick (Melanie), and Robert (Sara), several neices, nephews, cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grand parents, Robert Clem and Lois Reid, and Victor and Johnnie Lee Boyd.

Larry was a family man that loved taking trips to Las Vegas with his wife as often as possible and spent several anniversaries with her there. He loved the mountains, and driving around Chama NM as often as he could, especially in the fall when the colors were so beautiful. He loved hunting and fishing, and went as often as he could. He was involved with his son Bruce and the San Juan County Special Olympics. He worked for Pumps and Services of Farmington for nearly 12 years. He had a deep affection for the men and women in his "work family". He will be truly missed by many.

Viewing is Friday 5-7pm at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington. Services are 10am on Saturday August 17th, at Cope Memorial Chapel with graveside services immediately following at Bloomfield Cemetery. There will be a reception with lunch from 1-4pm at Sunray Park and Casino in the X-ray room.
