Lucy Lovato

Lucy Aurora Lovato, 87, of Farmington, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones on September 13, 2018. Born July 22, 1931 in Rainsville, NM, she is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Flora Medina (Cruz), her two sisters Vangie Gallegos and Jane Martinez, her two brothers Amador and Benson Medina, her daughter Velda Lovato, and her great-great grandson Santiago Stevens. Lucy was a homemaker who was married to her husband, Dan Lovato for 70 years. Survivors include her 8 children Rita Harding NM, Danny Lovato CO, Beverly (Ray) Ortega AZ, Andrew (Annie) Lovato WI, Barbara (Bill) Schmidt NM, Sandra (Allen) Willis TX, Gwen (Mayda) Lovato-Benally NM, Chastity (Nolan) Riley NM; her 24 grandkids; 40 great grandkids; and her 1 great-great grandson. There will be a rosary recited at St. Mary's Catholic Church Farmington, NM on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at 10:00 am followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 am interment will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
