Lupe R. Bond passed away on April 4, 2021 at her home in Gallup, New Mexico surrounded by her family. She was 56 years of age. Lupe was born on March 7, 1965 also in Gallup, New Mexico.
Lupe was a former security guard with Gallup Security, she was a long-time bus driver for Gallup McKinley County Schools and Gallup Xpress. She enjoyed crocheting, arranging flowers, dancing, bowling, fishing and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. She will be best remembered as a loving Wife, Mom and Grandma, her joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband David M. Bond. Her two daughters; Dana Bond Armijo and her husband Joseph, and Beverly Bond. Three grandchildren; Casey Armijo, Lewanne Armijo, and Elizabeth Armijo. Her siblings; Jeanie Duboise and her husband Tom, Ramona Galavis, Phyllis Bond and her husband Richard, Carrie Olivar and her husband Alfred, Frances Bond, Tillie Ryan, Marianne Chaput and her husband Rick. Along with numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Santos Paredes and Louisa Gonzales Paredes. Her in laws; Marvin and Connie Bond. Her brothers in law; Marvin Bond and Michael A. Bond.
On Monday April 12, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church a Memorial Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM, then at 10:30 AM a Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Abel Olivas, OFM.
Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
