Mary Lou Isabel Martinez

Mary Lou Isabel Martinez passed away on Monday February 28, 2022 in Gallup, New Mexico. She was 81 years of age. She was born on June 17, 1940 in Gallup, New Mexico.

Mrs. Martinez enjoyed the Casino and Bingo. She was a well-known cook, especially for her tamales. She loved to travel. Her family will cherish all the family gatherings, where they were able to spend time together. She was loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Andrew Martinez and his wife Margaret, Vivian Martinez, Christopher R. Martinez and his wife Antonette, Barbara Martinez and her spouse Michael Frazier, Deborah Martinez and her spouse John Torrez, Andrea Martinez, Michael Martinez and his wife Rachel, and Martina Martinez and her spouse Luis Granados, Luis Vega, David Garcia, and Esther Martinez. 24 Grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Her siblings; Sylvester DeLaO and his wife Patricia, and Ernestina James and her husband Mike. Along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Martin Martinez. Her parents; Sylvester and Cruzita DeLaO. Two grandsons; Joseph Gonzalez and Julian Martinez. Her siblings; Baby DeLaO, Frances Munoz, George DeLaO, Joe DeLaO, Amada Morris, Eloisa Sotelo, Lupe DeLaO, Louis DeLaO, Sally Barraza.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday March 11, 2022 at 9:30 AM, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
