May Stone, 81, of Kirtland, New Mexico passed away July 22, 2018 in Aztec, New Mexico. May was born December 2, 1936 to parents Dayton 'Jack' and Alice Hatley in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
May, loved cooking, gardening, crocheting and sewing. Her family and dogs meant the world to her. May shared a special bond with her identical twin sister, Fay. She would can fresh vegetables from the garden and passed the skill onto her daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. The family would like to say a special thank you to Cranes Roost for their loving care for her.
May is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Stone, her daughter, Donna Humphrey, her parents Alice and Dayton 'Jack' Hatley and 5 brothers and 5 sisters including her identical twin sister Fay Rice. She is survived by her son Kenneth Stone and his wife Dona Stone and grandchildren; Wendy Kirkland, Scott Stone and Bryan Stone and great- grandchildren; Shane Kirkland, Marquise Kirkland and Kevin Kirkland.
Services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00Am at First Baptist Church in Aztec, Nm.
