Pete Juarez Jr. passed away on November 30, 2020 in Gallup, New Mexico, at 73 years of age. He was born on November 30, 1947 in Dragerton, Utah.

Mr. Juarez proudly served in the United States Army 25th Infantry, serving in Vietnam 1967-1968. He was a founding member of Veterans helping Veterans. He was a member of the Church on the Street, and the Old Timers softball club. He was also an avid racquetball player. He was devoted to his family that he enjoyed spending time with. He was deeply loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Frances “Chicks” Juarez. His three children; Netta Garcia, Carlos Juarez, and Mario Juarez. Six grandchildren; Josiah Wright, Jeremy Wright, Tymika Deemy, Joshua Garcia, Camryn Juarez, and Mateo Juarez. One great-grandchild; Tinsley Huggins. His sisters; Pauline Olivar, Geraldine Kline, and Mary Torres. One brother; Richard Juarez.  His Godsons; Ed Lopez, and Daniel Juarez. Numerous nephews and nieces also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter; DeeDee Wright. His parents; Pedro Juarez Sr. and Natividad Lopez Juarez. His brother; Raymond Juarez. His mother in law; Soila Chavira and a brother in law; Manuel Leyba.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service with military honors will be held at a later date.

Cope Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
