Rojelio Balderrama

Rojelio Balderrama, age 23 of Huerfano, New Mexico, passed away on October 18, 2024 in Kirtland, New Mexico. Rojelio was born in Shiprock, New Mexico on May 31, 2001 to Valerie Blackie and Jose Balderrama Sr. 

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, the late Dick Blackie. He is survived by his mother, Valerie Blackie and his brother, Jose Randy Balderrama. And, his grandmothers, Dorothy Blackie and Jenny Pete. 

To know him was to smile and laugh. But most of all smile. He had a big generous heart and soul. He loved his diesel trucks and cars. Rocky was a volunteer firefighter. Firefighting isn't an easy job but he was determined. He loved his family very much. He made a huge impact on the community, he will be greatly missed. We miss and love Rocky. It's not goodbye, but we will see you again later. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., located at the First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, 200 W Sycamore Ave, Bloomfield, NM 87413.
