Ruby Fabiola Suazo Archuleta

Ruby Fabiola Suazo-Archuleta passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2018, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Ruby was born January 9, 1948, in Park View, New Mexico. She was predeceased by her parents; Atilano and Maria V. Suazo, her siblings; Junior, Tito, Willie and Gilbert Martinez, David Suazo, Angelina Sanchez and Orila Brandt. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert (Bobby) P. Archuleta. They were married October 1, 1966 in Park View, New Mexico now known as Los Ojos. Ruby is lovingly remembered by her three children Roberta P. Randall (her husband, Randy) Paul Archuleta (his wife Aubrey-Wyvonne) and Steven Archuleta (his wife Lynn). Seven grandchildren; James Valdez, Gabriel Valdez and Victoria Risley (her husband Ethan Risley), Autumn Archuleta, Brooke Archuleta, Shane Archuleta, Sienna Archuleta. Two Great-grandchildren; Elijah and Jase Risley. She is also survived by her four siblings; Ida Rodriguez from Illinois, Cris Martinez, Nancy Lucero and LeRoy R. Suazo from New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Ruby especially loved being with her family, gardening, camping and cooking with and for them. One of her many specialties was always having something good to eat at grandmas. Funeral services for Ruby will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute Street, Farmington, with Randy Randall officiating. Following the service, interment will be at the Bloomfield Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Valdez, Shane Archuleta, Randy Suazo, Ethan Risley, Thomas Suazo, and Frank Salazar. Honorary pallbearers are Victoria Risley, Gabriel Valdez, Sienna Archuleta, Brooke Archuleta, Autumn Archuleta, Elijah Risley and Jase Risley.
