Tannia Ann Neal, 47, of Kirtland passed away on October 30, 2020 in Farmington. Tannia was born on December 6, 1972 in Burnham, New Mexico to Freddie Smith, Sr. and Rose Smith. Born to: Red Running into the River People and born for: Salt Clan.

Tannia attended Farmington High School and was currently residing in Kirtland. She was self-employed working from home. She enjoyed making pottery, jewelry, dreamcatchers and other crafts. She loved her grandchildren, pet dogs and had a big heart for others.

Tannia is preceded in death by her son, Orion Neal, parents, Freddie Smith, Sr. and Rose Dixon Smith, brothers, Frankie Tsosie and Vernon Tsosie. Tannia is survived by her sons, Joseph Walton, Teron Neal, Kenoah Neal, brothers, Freddie Smith, Jr., Ronald Smith, sisters, Victoria Tsosie, Carmen Tsosie, Terry Smith, Roselyn Rangel, grandchildren, LaRyice Walton, Luhana Neal, Zephan Neal, Ezekiel Neal, Kanzieth Neal and Jaehan Benally Neal.

A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Cope Memorial Chapel, 458 Road 6100, Kirtland, New Mexico. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery in Kirtland with officiate Pastor Nancy Hall.

Pallbearers are Ronald Smith, Jacob Smith, Kenoah Neal, Freddie Smith, Frank Jones, Jr., and LaRyice Walton. Tannia’s care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland.
