Triston K. Eaton

Triston Kieron Eaton, age 20 of Upper Fruitland, NM, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Upper Fruitland. Triston was born on October 31, 1997 in Farmington, NM to parents Fred Jr. and Cornelia Eaton. Triston was born to the Salt Clan ('Ásh??hi) and the Mud Clan (Hasht ? 'ishnii).
A Kirtland Central High School graduate and student at San Juan Community College, Triston enjoyed hunting and fishing; he was a musician and an excellent chef. He was a caring shepherd to his family sheep and practiced ranching with his grandparents. His family was a deep part of his hear, his times of joy and he learned many life lessons from his mother and father. He was close to his sister, Nicole, who he walked with from his earliest childhood. His girlfriend, Mariah, supported him and loved him in their journey together.
Triston had many close friends, cousins and extended family who treasured and loved him. His smile and uniquely wonderful hair reflected his character, as well as his humor. He spent special time with his grandparents, Alice Mason of Upper Fruitland, Fred and Bessie "Boe" Eaton, Sr., of Huerfano. His father, Fred, and mother, Cornelia, are heartbroken but eternally thankful for his life, timem and the joy he brought them.

Triston was preceded in death by his grandparent, Yazzie Mason. He is survived by his parents, Cornelia and Fred Jr.; sister, Nicole; grandparents, Alice Mason, Fred Eaton, Sr., Bessie "Boe" Eaton.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Cope Memorial Chapel, Kirtland. Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, May 31 at All Saints Episcopal Church - 1257 Mission Ave., Farmington 87401, with The Right Rev. David Bailey officiating. Interment will follow the service on Thursday, May 31, at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery, Kirtland, NM. Reception will be Thursday, May 31 at All Saints Episcopal Church. Pallbearers are: Euryon Victor Mason, Josh Floyd Eaton, Marcus Denn Monroe, Kyle Jim, Leo Nez, and Tarrell Ervin Begay. Honorary pallbearers are: Elliott Mason, Tom Mason, Fred Eaton, Jr., Kee Jim, Darrell Monroe, Ernest Benally, and Mike Talamante.
