Vernon Dan, 70, of Kirtland passed away on November 4, 2020 in Farmington. Vernon was born on September 11, 1950 in Shiprock, New Mexico to Mark and Florence Dan. Vernon was a Veteran, in the United States Army.

Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Florence Dan, brothers, Jimmie Dan, Larry Dan, sister, Pauline D. Benally. Vernon is survived by his loving wife, Lillie Dan, daughters, Veronica Dan, Vanessa R. Dan, Verona R. Grey, brother, Arnold C. Dan, sister, Amy Claw, Stella, grandchildren, Samuel Martin, Elijah W. Grey, Bryce K. Grey.

A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Cope Memorial Chapel, 458 Road 6100, Kirtland, New Mexico. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery in Kirtland.

Pallbearers are Derek Claw, Jerrid Lee, Arnold Cleveland Jr., Darvin Josea, Kyle Josea, and Brianna Josea. Vernon’s care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland.
